RAILWAYS IN OLD DEVONPORT  |  GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY
MAIN LINE, PLYMOUTH STATION (MILLBAY) TO LISKEARD STATION

WINGFIELD VILLAS HALT

Wingfield Villas Halt was located on the Devonport Junction side of the road bridge carrying Wingfield Road over the Great Western Railway Company's main line and the London and South Western Railway Company's main line towards Stuart Road.

The Halt was opened from Wednesday June 1st 1904, when the Great Western Railway Company began its Saltash Suburban Service.

There are no known photographs of the Halt, possibly because it was an early closure, disappearing from the timetables in June 1921.
