ROSE COTTAGE (S 155) National Grid Reference SX 449 541 Rose Cottage was used as the Overseers' Office. It was built between 1850 and 1860 of snecked limestone ashlar and has a hipped slate roof with an ashlar ridge chimney stack. Single storey, it has two rooms, each with it's own entrance, one with a bay window from which the Overseer could over see the work going on in the Dockyard.
