STAFFORD'S HILL

Stafford's Hill was a short road which ran from Fore Street, immediately opposite to King Street, down to the corner of Cherry Garden Street and Catherine Street.

It created an island at the top of Catherine Street and this was removed during Town improvements at the end of the nineteenth century and Catherine Street widened at its junction with Fore Street.
