MAIN LINE, LYDFORD STATION TO FRIARY STATION

WESTON MILL HALT

Weston Mill Halt was opened on Wednesday September 26th 1906 in connection with the London and South Western Railway's suburban service between Plymouth and Saint Budeaux.  It wax on a quarter of a mile from Camel's Head Halt.

Two dates have been quoted for the closure of Weston Mill Halt: Mr C R Clinker in his "Register of Closed Passenger Stations and Goods Depots in England and Wales" states June 27th 1921 while Mr R W Kidner in his "Southern Railway Halts" gives September 14th 1921, which at least agrees with Mr David Saint John Thomas's September 1921.  Which is correct remains to be clarified.
