TRELAWNY PRIMARY SCHOOL
Trelawny Primary School was opened in September 1947 in some HORSA huts on a site earmarked for a new school for the post-war housing estate of Ham. At that time it was open to children of all ages.
The School was visited by the Minister of Education, Mr Tomlinson, on Wednesday April 27th 1949. It was expected to provide for 480 children. The Minister then went on to visit King's Tamerton Secondary Modern School.
