NUMBER 17 STORE (M037)

Thought to date from the late 18th-century, this small building of coursed dunstone rubble with brick dressings and a hipped roof is linked by a short covered footpath to Number 16 Store, The Powder House (M042).  The west front has four sash windows set in brick arches which are recessed.  The southern end has a small semi-circular doorway.

Under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 Number 16 Store has Listed Building Grade 2 status.
