CANTERBURY STREET

Canterbury Street runs southwards from Mount Street to Prospect Row.

Canterbury Street ran southwards from Mount Street to Prospect Row, parallel with Fort Street and Stanley Street.

The most prominent building was the Devonport Corporation workshops beside of the back lane.  There were no shops in the Street and the usual one beer retailer, Mr J F Bean, at number 14, on   the corner with Clowance Lane.  The other Licensed Landmarks shown in the map above were in either Pembroke Street or Prospect Row.
